Since it was opened in 2001 the charity shop in the Eco Centre in Tengboche has provided income for Tengboche monastery and the many charitable projects sponsored by the Tengboche Development Project and Sacred Land. 

However, many people wanted to support the projects and were interested in the unique products Sacred land makes but could travel to up the Himalayas to Tengboche itself. Therefore, we also started distributing the products more widely in different shops in Kathmandu. Now Sacred Land gifts can be bought in the tourist area of Thamel in Kathmandu at the Tibet Bookstore. Also in the Rangjung Yeshe Gomde retreat centers in Austria and Denmark and the Rigpa centre for spiritual care in Dzogchen Bera in Ireland. Our thanks go to everyone who has helped to distribute the Sacred land products.

As Sacred land produces high quality products and it quantity of production is rather limited. We are increasing slowly the amount as the demand is growing, but not at the expense of its products. Therefore we ask our valued customers, which mostly are close friends to be patient. Products are coming to the market when there are ready, produced with utmost care and dedication. We know that we are bad business people. But better be not so good in business, then offering inferior products. We treat the making of our goods as an art and please give us the space and time to give you a first class product.
