Sacred Land Initiatives – Tengboche, Solo Khumbu

Sacred Lands no longer maintains an office and shop in Kathmandu. The best way to contact us is by email. However, please be patient. Sacred Land is run mostly by volunteers and  when we are in the mountains there is no email access, however  we will write back as soon as we can and try to answer any questions you may have. 

If you wish to visit in person, I am afraid you will need to trek up to Tengboche at the foot of Mount Everest!

Tengboche Development Project and Sacred Land Eco-Information Centre

This is located in the upper Khumbu district of Solu Khumbu, in Eastern Nepal in the Sagarmatha (Mt Everest) National Park. It is at Tengboche Monastery on the main trekking route to Mount Everest Base Camp. For further information please link to  www.tengboche.org 

However, we also started distributing products more widely in Kathmandu. Now Sacred Land gifts can be bought in the tourist area of Thamel in Kathmandu at the Tibet Bookstore. Also in the Rangjung Yeshe Gomde retreat centers in Austria and Denmark and the Rigpa centre for spiritual care in Dzogchen Bera in Ireland.
